Waseem Akram Biography
Wasim Akram's autobiography, Wasim, tells the reader alot about his cricketing life. Stories of how and when he started are very interesting. It is also very interesting to see who he, as a player rates as the best cricketers of all times. The epilogue, which was done by his wife is written very very well, and provides the reader with some fascinating facts, mainly about Wasim Akram as a person, rather than a cricketer. The book though, could have done with a few more pictures- which came from Wasim's own photo albums, rather than companies such as EMPICS. Lastly Wasim's autobiography, could have allowed the reader to know Wasim Akram more as a person and not so much as a cricketer! All-in-all the book was written very well and provided fascinating insights into the cricketing world. Hopefully there will be a 'sequel' to this book, and given the amount of attention Wasim has gathered recently it will be most probably an excellent read.
